EXECUTIVE HEADTEACHER'S WELCOME

Welcome to the Wade Deacon High School website, a glance at which will reveal that it’s been a very exciting, creative and successful year. This year both schools in the Wade Deacon and Fairfield High Schools Federation  celebrated exceptional examination results. All our staff and pupils have worked very hard throughout the year and I would like to thank our parents for their support.

Throughout the Federation, pupils are encouraged to take pride in themselves, their actions and their achievements. I have high expectations of pupils’ academic work and the manner in which they conduct themselves around the school campuses and in the community beyond. An orderly and disciplined environment is a key feature of our work as a Federation; a responsibility that is shared across the whole school community.

Everyone associated with the Federation is committed to ensuring an excellent education for every single one of our pupils so that they achieve at the highest possible level. Parents, governors and the local authority have all supported the hard work of our pupils and staff.

HEAD OF SCHOOL'S WELCOME

At the end of every academic year, we celebrate the achievements of our pupils, members of staff and those of our community partners. We evaluate the impact of our actions, always aiming to give every child the opportunities to feel safe, happy, be respectful and achieve beyond their potential, so that they go into the World fully prepared as life‐long learners and excellent citizens. The key word is “partners” because it is your partnership with us and your outstanding support for what we do in school that makes a difference.

One of our school priorities for next year is to move “Forward Together”, and I look forward to developing our partnership even further through Parents’ Forums which will be held once every half term. These will give us the opportunity to have conversations about the things that really matter to you and together, we can move forward to give our children an outstanding 21st century education. Thank you.
