Our links with No 12 Middle School continue to develop. This year we have Ms Melody with us and we have introduced new sections on our elanguages web page . We now have exciting videos on Sports skills, Drama , a section of interactive flash resources where Chinese students can improve their English. In addition because Ms Melody has been visiting our local Junior Schools we have been able to facilitate them linking with Junior schools in Tongling. They now have there own section on our elangauages web page. We have now begun to link with No 1 High School Tongling. We have a separate elanguages web site.

We have an elanguages web page for all our activities with Gifu School. Future plans include a visit to Gifu school when we hope to agree Joint Curriculum Projects.

SINGAPORE

Year 8 Humanities pupils collaborated with the girls of St Nicholas Girls' School in Singapore on a Climate Change Forum hosted on their Learning Platform. Pupils compared and contrasted the impact of global warming in Singapore and Widnes, and shared ideas on ways to combat climate change. |
