Key Stage 3 ICT
At Wade Deacon High School the National Strategy for ICT at Key Stage 3. The National Curriculum groups the knowledge skills and understanding that pupils need to acquire into four themes:
- Finding things out
- Developing ideas and making things happen
- Exchanging and sharing information
- Reviewing, modifying and evaluating work as it progresses
To enable pupils to acquire knowledge and understanding in ICT pupils complete units in Years 7, 8 and 9 based on the sample teaching units from the Key Stage 3 National Strategy. The teaching modules are as follows:
