OFFICIALLY OUTSTANDING
Wade Deacon High School is celebrating for a second year running after being named TES Outstanding Secondary School of the Year 2012.

Executive Headteacher Pamela Wright OBE collects the Award on behalf of the school.
The award confirms the excellent work of everyone at the school in enabling our pupils to achieve their full potential and recognises our continued ‘Commitment to Excellence’.
Last April, Ofsted has judged Wade Deacon High School “an outstanding school”. Every single judgement in the report was given the highest grade of outstanding. This is a truly exceptional achievement for the whole school community.
The Inspection Team focused upon the progress of all pupils and in particular those “who joined the school from its federated partner in September 2010”. They found that pupil “attainment is high and their achievement is outstanding”; “their behaviour is considerate, polite and courteous and their attendance is high”. Everyone in the school works very hard to develop mature and confident young people with the highest possible qualifications they are capable of achieving.
