Executive Principal and studentsExecutive Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the new school year here at Wade Deacon.  We are delighted to be returning to school having seen our students achieve the highest results in the history of our school this summer, confirming that we are the highest achieving school within the authority!  Naturally I would like to offer my congratulations to each individual student and my thanks to our staff and parents who supported them in securing these outstanding achievements.

I am both excited and privileged to be taking over such a fantastic school and ready for what I believe will be a busy and demanding yet rewarding term as we settle back into our routines.  As always we will have the highest expectations of all our students as we work to ensure that every individual youngster succeeds in all their studies and thrives in our school. The opportunities Wade Deacon offers are fantastic and I am absolutely confident that we will continue to build on our success to date throughout this year.

Like all schools we face a challenging future as the world of education continues to change but we are well prepared to meet these changes and able to continue to offer a world class learning experience for all our students.

Executive Principal
